How is content added to this website?

The Evidence-Based Services Committee primarily uses formalized reports on youth mental evidence-based practices, such as the Blue Menu of Evidence-Based Interventions from PracticeWise, to inform content on this website.

Additional information can be added through a nomination and review process. Interested contributors should ask themselves the following:

1. Is the information directly relevant to children’s mental health issues?

2. Would the information potentially be useful to a parent or caregiver?

3. To what extent is this resource derived from highly controlled scientific studies, or at least a well-cited evidence-based practice resource?

4. Is the primary focus of a suggested resource in line with questions 1-3?

   If the answer is yes to all four of these questions, then please email the EBS Committee at DOH.CAMHD.comms@doh.hawaii.gov with your request.
